Tours was founded in 1983 by Johnny Cline after his retirement from Trailways
Bus Lines in Jackson, Mississippi. Cline Tours is one of the area's oldest
and continues to remain one of the area's most respected charter bus companies.
Through the years, Cline Tours has prided itself on its excellent charter bus
services and its exceptional safety record. Cline Tours'
reputation for fair prices, safety and simply enjoyable bus charters has been
impeccable since its inception. Johnny Cline continued to operate the very
successful business until 1996, when he decided to retire for a second time and
sell Cline Tours to the current owner / operator, John McCommon.
John McCommon has continued the same
great service that customers expect from Cline Tours since acquiring the
business. John has also expanded Cline Tours to include a much larger inventory of buses as well as new and exciting
services. Cline Tours continues to operate its very popular charter bus business
and has also greatly expanded its contract shuttle bus services.
Cline Tours is very proud to have more than 80 buses
in operation making Cline Tours the largest bus fleet in the State of
Mississippi. Cline Tours is located in a first class headquarters facility
in Ridgeland, Mississippi (a high growth suburb of Jackson). This
state-of-the-art facility coincides with ownership's ongoing policy to continue
expanding and improving Cline Tours.
